Louisiana French or Cajun French is a specific variant of French language spoken traditionally in colonial Lower Louisiana. As of today Louisiana French is primarily used in the U.S. state of Louisiana, specifically in the southern parishes. The verb conjugation follows that of standard French, with some tense constructions that are specific for Cajun French only.
